Launching Birth Sister

I am excited and humbled to be sharing that I am officially launching my doula practice!

I look forward to offering heart-based, soulful support for women and couples during birth, as well as before and after.

My model of care is holistic and emphasizes continuity in the face of tremendous transition – I approach the birth as the pinnacle event in a continuum of metamorphosis. Therefore, the physical and emotional support I provide at the birth are in the context of a longer relationship – I offer myself to you as a companion throughout the childbearing year. This companionship can take many forms – I will take my lead from you and your unique needs.

As a preview of our initial meeting together, I am sharing here the worksheet I have prepared with a list of focusing questions. They prompt one to (re-)engage with what sits at her core - the worries, the joys, the resources, and the parts that need work.

In celebration of the launch of my practice, I am currently offering attractive fees below market rates. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for excellent support while keeping their costs down. I am happy to attend births in either the home or hospital setting in the Jerusalem area.
