Pregnancy, birth and postpartum are formative experiences. The encounter with the dramatic, the ineffable is profound, challenging and magical.

When a woman and her loved ones are able to approach the pregnancy-birth-postpartum continuum informed and supported, they are transformed and empowered by this deep encounter with the unknown. This is the outcome every family deserves.

One of the keys to achieving this outcome is the receipt of necessary support. As a doula, I seek to support a woman and her family through their encounter with ineffible experience that is birth: guiding to informed decision-making, dealing with the loss of control inherent in this process, and supporting a woman and couple throughout so that they maintain and regain a sense of well-being and balance.
